Returning for its fourth year, the region’s premier conference on the business of fashion, Asia Fashion Summit (AFS), will feature top executives from global brands including Abercrombie & Fitch, Galeries Lafayette, Bata, and Goods of Desire.

The May 15-17 conference will focus on how brands can elevate customer experience, service, and strengthen their relationships with their customers. Fashion entrepreneurs, iconic global brands and longtime industry practitioners will discuss trends, address sector challenges and showcase industry best practices.

Themed Asia’s Fashion Moment, AFS 2013 will provide tools that enable brands and designers to elevate their retail experience end-to-end: from turning service staff into “brand ambassadors”, delivering more personalised service, to engaging customers offline and online. With presentations, interactive panel discussions and small group workshops, the three-day event will help retailers, fashion buyers, fashion entrepreneurs and designers refine their strategies, create compelling store experiences, and grow their customer bases.

For the first time, this year’s event will also feature complimentary seminars for BLUEPRINT tradeshows participants and for the public.

AFS 2013 will be held on 15 - 17 May 2013 at Raffles City Convention Centre.

What :
The Asia Fashion Summit (AFS), organised by the Textile & Fashion Federation (TaFf), is the region’s premier fashion and retail business conference. Into its fourth year, the event provides insights and shares expert views on topics that are important to fashion industry professionals and retailers in Asia.

Who :

Why : With competition intensifying globally, sound business strategies and a great customer experience are crucial. A 2012 CBRE study, “How Global Is the Business of Retail”, revealed that almost half (47%) of retailers surveyed have presence in multiple continents and are preparing to grow their footprints.
