Craving for some peace, love and moo-licious ice cream on a blazing hot day in Singapore? Mark your calendars and indulge as Ben & Jerry’s annual Free Cone Day makes a comeback on April 9, Tuesday, from 12pm to 8pm, at seven locations this year!
“Free Cone Day is an event truly unique to Ben & Jerry’s. We have passionate and dedicated fans that support us, and this is the occasion where we thank them, and show them how much we love them with free cones all day”, said Brand Manager (Ice Cream Category Lead), Unilever Singapore, Kenneth Lau.
This year’s line-up of funky flavours includes:

2. English Toffee Crunch
3. Maple Tree Hugger
4. Strawberry Cheesecake
5. Lemonade Sorbet
We are also working to make sure that our fans enjoy the best possible ice cream made in the best possible way by aiming to transit all our ice cream over to Fairtrade by 2013, on top of already using sustainable diary, cagefree eggs and the oh-so-delicious brownie chunks from a social enterprise in New York.

Do some good too! Join us to raise funds for Project Happy Feet (PHF)
Beyond just making our mouths and bellies happy, we also hope that everyone at Free Cone Day will join us in doing some good for the community. This year, we are proud to share that our fairness partner for Free Cone Day 2013 is Project Happy Feet. PHF is a Singapore-based not-for-profit organisation set up to empower the lives of underprivileged youths and children in Singapore and developing countries. It supports education-related initiatives and programmes through fund-raising that can positively impact them or their families.
To further aide us in this cause, the CLEO editorial team will be adopting a Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop at VivoCity. The first 400 Ben & Jerry’s fans in line at the CLEO adopted scoop shop will not be worried about the long queues as they will each receive a copy of CLEO’s April issue! To add fudge to your ice cream, CLEO will be throwing in a complimentary three-month digital subscription of CLEO magazine for the first 200 kind fans who donates more than $30 to Project Happy Feet.
