After the romantic dinner, it's time to head home for some sexy time. Sticking to the good old routine may be comfortable for both, but how about spicing things up in the bedroom with some new tricks?

We have some naughty ideas for you to try out on your man this coming Valentine's Day. Let's make this Valentine's a special one for him!

1. Sext him for the day

Credit: Huffington Post

He will be so excited that I'm sure he will be trying to finish that dinner as fast as he can, after you put all those sexy images into his head.

2. Blindfold him

Credit: LOL Wot

When one of your senses is taken away, your other senses with be heightened, and you wait with anticipation. Touch him slowly and gently in all his sensitive spots and watch him get all steamy.

3. Don't allow him to touch you

Credit: Glamour

Ah? Really? No I don't mean for the whole night! Set the rule that he cannot touch you until you say so. Meanwhile strip your man and start your foreplay with him. He will be trying his best to keep his hands to himself. Don't torture him for too long, watch his passion explode when you think he cannot take it anymore.

4. Love coupons

Credit: Life of Beth

"I'll lend you my hand"
"Valid for one blowjob"
"I'll do a striptease for you"
"You can direct our movie"
"A lap dance for the night"

Present him with love coupons and allow him to use them for the night. In fact, it's up to you to put an expiry date on the coupons. He can choose to keep some for the next time! We found one site that can give you some ideas and it is definitely not difficult to design and print them out on your own. Low cost and your partner will be asking for more!

5. Play dress up

Credit: Asian Walk Way

Dress up to his wildest fantasy. Serve him his dinner in an apron. I mean, just an apron. Find out what his secret fetish is and play along to it. Nurse? Fairy tale princesses? Uniforms? Play dress up and let him get them off.

6. Sensual oil massage

Credit: Derma Scent

Let your man relax and be his masseur for the night. Get some massage oil and knead his fatigue away. It will be great to head towards his sensitive zones and end the massage with a bang.

7. Strip poker

Play any card game and add that strip element. Make it jucier and add rules such that losers will need to give little favours.

My Ideal Valentine's Celebration

$

With the proliferation of the media and advertisement, many of us are brainwashed to think that the perfect Valentine’s celebration must be made up of big bouquet of roses, candle-lit dinner in romantic setting and grand surprises. I am no exception too; I mean, who doesn’t like to be made to feel special?

While I think Valentine’s Day is a great Hallmark holiday for ladies because it gives you a legit reason to dress up (timely reason to buy new clothes!), have on-point hair and perfect make-up; I also think it is also an overly pretentious and expensive occasion.

As I grow older, (to my own surprise too) I have started to care less about occasions, gifts, and ostentatious dinners purely because I am sick of having to dress to impress and to sit through pompous overpriced meals. Oh, not mentioning the hassle to buy presents!

Valentine's day to me is not a day for me to show off how much ‘love’ I received, but a day to celebrate love! Here’s sharing three things that will make up my ideal Valentine’s celebration.

Number one. Sleeping in TOGETHER.

(Credit: Cosmopolitan)

Nothing beats waking up to the person you love, with no make-up, no push-up bras, bad morning breath, yet feeling absolutely comfortable with each other. True love is being comfortable in your own skin and when your partner accepts you for who you are. It’s no secret that cuddling makes you feel good because it releases oxytocin and helps you feel connected to your partner. Coincidentally, Valentine day falls on Sunday this year (hooray!), so this means more sleeping time, less stress and a whole day to be extremely slack and lazy TOGETHER.

Number two. Being frivolous together.

“Quality Time” is my primary love language; so just spending time together makes me happy. Work has been awfully stressful, and if given a choice between going out or staying-in on Valentine day, I will definitely pick the latter. Doing brainless activities like watching a new TV series/Disney movies or playing silly board games will most probably make me contented for a long time.

My ideal Valentine day might flabbergast some at this point in time, but there’s nothing that brings me more joy than not having to worry about activities-to-do-to-fill-time, conversations-to-have-break-the-silence and looking-like-a-slob.

Number three. Good food makes me happy.

(Credit: ieatishootipost)

I appreciate good food, but I don’t think it is value-for-money eating set dinners at chichi restaurants on Valentine’s Day. Incapable of whipping out a decent meal, my ideal Valentine's day dinner would be a table-filled with all my favorite hawker food (all at the comfort of home!). As I am typing this, I am already craving for hokkien prawn noodles, black carrot cake, chicken wings and stingray. Also, this would mean no dishwashing to worry about too! Yay.

At the end of the day, to be very honest, not fulfilling the above criteria isn’t at all important. I think what’s most important is being with the right person because he/she will make everything right for you :)

As February 14th is fast approaching, I hope you who are reading this will meet the person who makes you feel like you don’t want to be anywhere else except in his/her presence. Celebrate love with the someone who lights the spark inside of you, whom you can do crazy activities you have been planning for and whom you can talk to about your biggest dreams and fears while holding close to he/she.

P.S. No matter what you do, hold them close this Valentine's day.

With love,
Jacelyn

Share a Coca-Cola Coke with...but Wait Is Yours the Same as Mine?

‘Open up, open up some happiness’, I’m sure most of us are no stranger to this Coca-Cola jingle, and might even secretly hum happily away with the tune, when the commercial comes on. In fact, we at MyFatPocket, love sharing and quenching our can of fizzy magic potion under the sweltering sun. This is when the big problem arrives, despite being a small family, we have very different Coca-Cola preferences. This eventually got us wondering, if the different Coca-Colas that we shared are the same (nutritionally) or….  If you have the same concern, read on as we unravel the chambers of secrets.

alt

Here we picked the regular Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, and Coca-Cola Light (Diet Coke), and created a comparison chart.

alt

Source: Coca-Cola Singapore (Based on 330ml, a can)

At a Glance

It seems like gulping a can of regular Coca- Cola means you are going to spend more time working out. If you ever wondered, what contributes to the calorie count in regular Coca-Cola, the answer is sugar! The sugar in the good old Coca-Cola, is both a type of Carbohydrate, and nutritive sweetener (contain few vitamins or minerals, and is often referred to as ‘empty’calories). Carbohydrates contain 4 calories per gram, and if you do some mathematics here, you will know why there is 139 calories in the classic Coca-Cola.

alt

Credit: Livestrong

For the ardent Coca-Cola fans, you might be surprised to know that just a can of the beverage contains 35 g of added sugar (about 7 teaspoons). The point is, HPB recommends that the amount of sugar added to drinks to be below 10% of the daily total calorie count. This translates to between 40 g and 55 g of added sugar (8 to 11 teaspoons). Coupled with the fact that many products (bread, chilli sauces, and crackers) contain added sugar, just a can of the usual Coca-Cola is enough to boost your odds of over consuming added sugars! Regular consumption of sugary beverages, can lead to undesirable weight gain, and increase the odds of tooth decay.

What about Coca-Cola Zero, and Diet Coke?

Before you decide to drown yourself silly with these two,it's important to know that zero calorie does not necessarily mean that it is calorie-free. In fact, FDA permits beverages to be declared as 0 calories, if they contain less than 5 calories per serving.

alt

Credit: NY Daily News

The zero calorie in these 2 beverages is attributable to the magic of artificial sweeteners, which in this case includes Aspartame, Acesulfame-K, and Sucralose. These may be derived from naturally occurring substances, including herbs and sugar. These sweeteners are able to enhance the degree of sweetness compared to the sugar used in regular Coca-Cola (in fact by 200 times for Aspartame and Acesulfame-K, 600 times for Sucralose), while at the same time yielding the negligible amount of calories.

If you who think that Coca-Cola Zero, or Diet Coke is your instant remedy to weight loss (ignoring the need to make wise food choices and intakes), you might want to rethink again! According to the statement published by American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association in 2012, in order for artificially sweetened beverages to effectively bring about the effects of weight loss or control, the individual need to avoid compensatory energy intake. This simply means if you choose the artificial sweetened drink (say 100 kcal) over the regular soft drink (say 200 kcal) for lunch, but then takes in an additional 50 or 100 kcal for dinner, the initial ‘calorie-saving’effect would be negated.

Other than this, some researchers are worried that the intake of artificial sweetened beverages would infantilise the taste buds, and result in craving for more sweet foods and drinks, which ultimately add up to excess calories. Yet studies in this area are inconclusive.

So What's the Deal?

For healthy individuals who are trying to shed off some kilos or are actively dieting, and cannot live without Coca-Cola, it is recommended to opt for either Coca-Cola Zero or Diet Coke. These options provide the same intensity of sweetness as regular Coca-Cola with lower calories. Yet, remember these drinks may actually be counterproductive due to the infantalised taste buds. Thus the best bet is only drink them occasionally. Make water or freshly squeezed juices your main drink and sip on one of these as treat once in a while.

For the diabetics or pre-diabetics, these colas (in fact soft drinks) are the first things you should limit from your diet. However, it may be advisable to consult with a registered dietitian first.

If you’re a parent to a growing child, it is wise to keep them away from the range of colas. The younger they are, the easier it will be to cultivate a mostly water routine for them.

The Future of the Fashion Show

$
0
0

The future of the fashion show is up for debate. With the advent of digital, the rise in the number of brands, the dominance of pre collections, and the increased attempts to directly target the consumer, the industry has reached breaking point which has prompted a shake-up of massive proportions. Now that Burberry has announced its plans to only hold two seasonless annual shows and make its collections available immediately online and in stores, and the news that Tom Ford has cancelled its New York show to adopt a see-now-buy-now model come September, the landslide affect looks certain to ensue.

"Logistically looking at the fashion-show construct, it makes very little sense now," says Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman. "If you put a business consultant in to look at what the fashion industry is doing, they would think it was insane."

The CFDA's decision in December to do just that and employ Boston Consulting Group to explore viable alternatives to the current format, with the view to turn New York Fashion Week into a consumer-facing event, has been a catalyst for the recent discussions. "We have designers, retailers and everybody complaining about the shows," declared its president Diane von Furstenberg in December. "Everything needs to be rebooted." A frank admission from someone in a position to affect change, but, for an industry famous for resisting it, what are the viable options being mooted?

Switching seasons - so that during February and March the spring/summer collections would be presented and during September and October the autumn/winter collections - and inviting customers instead of press and buyers is a popular option. The idea is to make the time between seeing the collection and being able to buy the collection shorter, therefore making collections more relevant to the time of year and increasing the chances of purchases before desire has dampened.

It also aims to capitalise on the social-media buzz surrounding a fashion show, when need/want can be instantly satisfied/gratified. New York designers Rebecca Minkoff and Thakoon recently announced they have opted for the "see-now-buy-now model" to do just that, while Burberry hopes to harness the power of the live streams that it has been broadcasting since 2009.

Elsewhere, brands such as MoschinoVersaceDries Van Noten and House of Holland have been experimenting with the notion for some time, selling capsule collections (including as-yet unseen catwalk looks) to online retailers ahead of the show happening, that drop in the weeks following the show.

But, debate surrounding the topic raises the question of who are the shows really for? For the schedule to work, four groups of people need to be catered for: the retailers, the consumers, the press, and the designers - and the demands from each group are different at each stage in the process.

RETAILERS

Browns' womenswear buying director, Laura Larbaliestier, says that her business - recently bought by Farfetch - notices a positive difference in a label's performance when a collection is sold immediately after the show. "If lead times were made shorter, we would capitalise on the thrill of 'the new' that is created by fashion week," she explains, while Henry Holland tells us that he sees a surge on his e-commerce platform (currently the source of 25 per cent of House of Holland's total annual revenues) when an edit of his collection is instantly available.

"Sales were fast and strong," explains Ruth Chapman of MatchesFashion, who sold the Versace and Moschino capsule collections, "but also limited in terms of quantities - the intention was to sell out straight away and we did." It's a savvy move, but how does this work for full collections and brands on different stratas?

"I don't think it would work better on the whole for luxury fashion to have a shorter period between reveal and delivery," says Chapman. "The customer is increasingly interested in the artisanal design process when she invests in beautiful items. The very process of this requires a complicated supply chain and sometimes an item can pass though many different artisan hands. It's just not possible to put any more pressure on these processes without compromising on quality. The customer is smart enough to know that."

"It is clear that brands cannot create faster," agrees Susanne Tide Frater, brand and strategy director for Farfetch and a consultant at Victoria Beckham. "Fabrics will always need 12 weeks make-time and a buy-now-wear-now approach cannot have further impact on the quality of a beautiful fashion product."

High-end luxury retail is one end of the spectrum, but, says Shulman, "the problem comes more - and makes less sense - in the middle market, where if you're going to put the money in, why wouldn't you say, 'Well I'm just going to address the people that are going to buy that leather jacket next week'?

For the see-now-buy-now model to work, it means that everything shown would have to be available. Currently, approximately 20 to 30 per cent of what is seen on the ready-to-wear catwalks goes into production, meaning designers would either have to reduce the number of looks they presented; only show what had been pre-bought by retailers; or fall into a situation where they are making everything or on demand, creating a divide between the capabilities of different brands.

London Fashion Week regular Topshop Unique is in an interesting position of bridging the gap between high-end and high-street fashion. "Topshop has always put the customer at the heart of the Unique show experience and embraces the see-it-buy-it mentality with the way it constantly creates newness throughout the year; it's a part of the brand's DNA," says creative director Kate Phelan.

Topshop Oxford Circus

"This fast-paced way of delivering fashion, together with accessibility to international travel and the advancement of social media have all contributed to the changing of the fashion cycle," she continues. But then Topshop has the fast-fashion infrastructure in place to support the new demand, which can't be said for all.

"It's great for the people that have their own factories and have the machine in place to produce the things as quickly as they can, but for a lot of the smaller guys, I think it will be an absolute pain as it's already really difficult to get the stuff made," says Vogue fashion director Lucinda Chambers. "Big brands like Burberry can say, 'We'll do 20 of those six pieces', based on what their feedback is from live-streaming it. Smaller brands don't have that opportunity and will be unnecessarily squeezed."

The front row at Burberry

The dominance of the pre collections has also affected the way that retailers approach the process. While they have always been big business, there has now been an open acknowledgment of the importance of these collections that have quietly brought home the bacon. The pre shows - by the likes of Chanel, Dior, Vuitton and Gucci that take the fashion crowd on global voyages - have now put the marketable, social-media-attractive cherry on the cake, leaving the mainline collections out in the cold. With approximately 70 per cent of a buyer's budget reserved for pre, it doesn't leave much left over, says Chambers.

CUSTOMERS

The management of the proposed restructured timetable is the first thing that would need to be addressed. As would the dangers of that what Tide-Frater calls "fashion fatigue" for the consumer. "There is just too much "stuff" and not enough meaning," she says. "Where the show once served to create desire twice a year, the seasons have become hamster wheels for brands, media and consumers."

"If the consumer can't keep up, they kind of give up buying."
~ Lucinda Chambers

On this, Burberry's chief creative and chief executive officer, Christopher Bailey agrees, telling Womens Wear Daily on the announcement of the fashion house's show reshuffle that he has never understood the notion that the industry talks about what is right for "the moment" yet doesn't make it available until six months later which confuses the customer.

The "social-media buzz" surrounding the shows plays its part in the consumer experience too. Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter feeds are flooded with images of the collections, so would increasing this, by inviting consumers, speed the process up even more, eventually resulting in consumers skipping collections entirely? "If the consumer can't keep up, they kind of give up buying," says Chambers.

"People have to be aware of chasing the social-media dragon, because not everyone and everything should be determined by Instagram likes," says Shulman. "I think you really noticed in Milan last year, how suddenly all the brands seemed to think it was their priority suddenly, over and above the clothes, with elaborate digital backdrops and so on. It's great to have a good picture, of course, but if everyone is doing it you're not going to get a standout shot anyway."

PRESS

With consumers only at the shows, the question of what happens to the current audience of press and buyers is an essential one. Editors will still need time to style and shoot the looks and buyers the time to consider their overall spend. The current proposal of holding small showroom appointments with both in the months leading up to the show under embargo - a strategy that Burberry intends to adopt - has differing impacts.

Burberry spring/summer 2016

"To some extent we are already doing this as pre collections are such a significant part of the business and we buy these collections four to six months in advance," says Larbalestier, although BFC chairman Natalie Massenet points out that while "many buyers already meet with established brands in advance of the shows, how this would translate more widely, especially for young businesses, needs to be addressed," raising concerns for brands that don't have their own channels of distribution and instead adopt the wholesale model, selling their collections to retailers like Selfridges, Net-A-Porter, MatchesFashion and Browns.

"I think most buyers would enjoy a one-to-one with the designers six months in advance, but I'm not sure how viable this is in terms of a designer's time, or even their sanity!" says Chapman. "Also as a team we do rely largely on our interaction with the press. We have a very industry-centric customer who is an early adopter of fashion and therefore our strong press relations give us insight into influential opinion."

For traditional print press it would pose more of a conundrum, with the volume of brands making it difficult to organise teams to see everything. Where a fashion show is eight minutes, private appointments would easily take an hour each.

"It's quite precarious for fashion magazines because to some extent the logical thing to do is not show clothes so far in advance, but that can't work on a monthly magazine schedule," says Shulman. "However, we are finding more and more that brands want their page in Vogue over and above any digital coverage. The idea of a fashion shoot is valued and treasured and this process takes time."

Additionally, while brands look to connect with their consumers more through social platforms, by inviting the industry in advance to view the collections under embargo they are contradictorily tying the hands of the social-media-savvy press and taking away the immediacy and spontaneity - the foundations on which social media is built.

DESIGNERS

So, are the shows still needed or relevant at all? If a see-now-buy now model is profitable, why not just upload collections to online editorial and e-commerce platforms and cut out the middle man?

"When you consider how much goes into the show, it seems crazy, but I think designers would be really sad if they had to give up something that was their pure vision and I think its wonderful to see what's in a designer's head," says Chambers. "But there are other ways of doing a show; smaller presentations featuring everything from static models to a film are just as wonderful. We don't necessarily need to see a catwalk, but we need to see their vision without any interference, otherwise all anyone ever sees is a fashion editor's interpretation."

London Fashion Week regular Thomas Tait has already announced its intentions to experiment with the format this season, holding one-on-one appointments, while Hunter is abandoning fashion week entirely to target its consumers at the summer music festivals.

How fashion houses will choose to engage with changing their formats remains to be seen. The glamour and drama of a traditional catwalk show retains strong nostalgia in the psyche of many fashion designers, as GQeditor Dylan Jones, who himself is behind the successful introduction of the London Collections: Mens showcases, puts it, "Fashion needs theatre. It's important to harness technology but it will always need the shows."

"I love the intimacy of a show," says Roksanda Ilincic, although admits to questioning the sequence of the bi-annual show calendar. "I take it as my twice-yearly opportunity to welcome guests into my world. I think any collection is all about context, about what you are communicating as your vision."

Fellow London Fashion Week designer Antonio Berardi agrees, telling us, "the idea of movement, of attitude, and of sound is something which can never be translated into digital" adding that it's through a physical show that "the craftsmanship is up for scrutiny" - a point that is also up for debate.

"Unless you are in the very front row, it can still be hard to see," Zoe Jordan (who opted for an impressive digital presentation in September) told us last year, referencing the trend for online shopping as proof that screen interface doesn't dissuade shoppers from making a purchase, although was keen to point out that every brand is different.

"True, we no longer have to be physically there in order to see the shows as we can see them in other ways, so the big point of doing them is more to do with the importance of creative aesthetic that comes out of how the designers want us to see their ideas," says Shulman. "By not having any music, no hair or make-up, anything like that, and just clothes on hangers at an appointment, you are in danger of coming away with too many navy trouser suits - but whether that means that so many people need to go to so many shows over such a long period of time, that's the question."

Alexander McQueen's famous spring/summer 1999 show

"The shows are an opportunity for designers to re-affirm their brand's DNA - think of those early McQueen shows," says Chapman, "but I do think there are too many shows. Often a presentation would be better for advanced contemporary or mid-market brands and those brands with one fabulous product category like Moncler or Mansur Gavriel - but these brands that are super smart and doing in anyway."

"I would be gutted if I only saw the big shows at the collections," says Chambers. "If it was just all the big guys then our lives would be diminished because it's the rising talent that feeds the soul."

Finding the right balance between commerciality and creativity, and accessibility and aspiration won't be easy and different brands will agree and disagree on the best way to do it, no-one admits to having all the answers just yet. But it's ultimately the soul of fashion that needs to be saved - and on that everyone agrees.

"It's a good thing that people are looking at it," says Shulman, "as a really big change needs to be made."

The Tulle Overdress Is the Year's Unlikeliest, Most Tempting Trend

$

0

What’s fluffy, sheer, and looks like spun sugar? Potentially your next big purchase. Just when we thought we’d tried every layering trick in the book, the tulle overdress—worn on top of jeans, slips, and everything in between—emerged as one of the most unexpected trends in recent memory.

At Miu Miu Spring ’16, frothy clouds of tulle lent an off-kilter, sticky-sweet vibe to Miuccia Prada’s twisted coats and negligees. Fast-forward to Pre-Fall and Stella McCartney’s take was just as surprising: Among her signature pantsuits and plush knits were ruched, featherweight tulle frocks haphazardly layered over brocade pants. But it’s London designer Molly Goddard we can credit for initially turning us on to “tulle toppers”: While studying at Central Saint Martins, she debuted a collection of ruched and smocked tulle creations inspired by baby dresses. “I still have loads of the clothes I wore as a child,” Goddard tells Vogue.com. “I blew up photos of dresses on the photocopier and made patterns from that—I love the strange proportions.” Whether you’re channeling your childhood dress-up days or just want to impart your look with something sweet, find inspiration in the 10 best looks below.

Have a Ball of a Time

Whether you’re having intercourse, giving a blowjob, a handjob or even just making out with your man, his testicles are an erogenous zone you don’t want to overlook. It’s like having your boobs caressed and your nipples gently fondled in his mouth…. it feels so good, yet it’s often not focused on enough because he skips over so impatiently to penetrative sex where he thinks your main source of pleasure is. Wrong! Similarly, don’t neglect his balls. Here are some tips on what to do with those jewels of his to pleasure him.

Just Hold Them
This is a very basic move you can start with. Tired of the same old predictable moves of running your hands over his chest or in his hair when making out? You can turn up the heat and take him by surprise by sliding your hand down his pants to hold his testicles in your hand. Simply hold still and carry on kissing.

Cup and Lift Them
When you’re bent over and he’s going at it Doggy style, use one arm to reach below you and get to his dangling balls. Cup them in your hand, for most men, you can actually feel when he’s reaching an orgasm and is about to come because his balls will tighten up and be drawn in closer to his body. This is the time when you should give it an added lift and gentle squeeze. It makes his orgasm much bigger.

Scratch Them
When going down on him, very lightly run your fingernails over the skin of the scrotum. Just alternate your finger movements as in you’re tapping your fingers idly on a table top making a horse gallop type sound… now transfer that kind of movement onto his balls, and use your fingernail tips to scratch the skin gently. The key is keep it light LIGHT LIGHT, like a gentle grazing sensation. Many men love this scratching and respond to it with a giddy with pleasure.

The W Lick
Don’t go licking down there haphazardly like a thirsty St Bernard lapping up water. Have a pattern. Do the W lick. You start on one side of his balls and start licking your way to the middle of his balls. Then trace your tongue all the way back down and up the other side. Your tongue should be in between pointy and completely relaxed.. so not too hard to too soft. But if you’re really not sure how flexed your tongue should be, just alternate and mix it up with both flat tongue and pointy tongue as you lick. The heat of your moist tongue will feel amazing on his scrotum.

Suck On Them
Gently bring your lips to his scrotum, and suck on the skin, drawing more and more of it gently into your warm mouth. Then open your lips wider as your keep sucking as this will allow one of his balls to enter. Once in, start swirling your tongue around his ball as you suck. You can alternate between balls, or take both in at the same kind. Remember to be gentle, go slow so it’s pleasurable, reassuring and not nerve wracking for him. Oh and never use your teeth!

Go ahead, show your man a ball of a time!

Valentine’s Day Tips for Table Settings

On February 14, cupid starts shooting arrows everywhere making it the most romantic holiday of the year! Walk down the street and you’ll see roses, chocolate and declarations of love everywhere. So how about yourself, what are you planning for your Feb 14th? I like mine to be an intimate dinner with my significant other at the very comfort of our own home and making it romantic at the same time.

Aside from cooking something special, one other really important thing is to be done for the two to feel more romantic. Take effort into making the table setting more elaborate than usual, the unique and elegant decorations can really make a huge difference to the ambience. It doesn’t have to cost a great deal, simply pay attention to small details and using simple, affordable and expressive table decorations idea. Perhaps while one of you is tending to the cooking, the other will take this time out to set up the decorations that will surprise him/her and bring an unforgettable memory.

There are two types of setting on my mind; one of them is the simple and cute pink and white while the other is the elegant red and classy. You don’t have to go all out to make it a special date-night table, like travelling a hundred miles away just to get that exact rose or that special table cloth you want.

The Simple Pink

Like mentioned in the title, simple pink, so most of the items you buy should be pink in color together with white and maybe a little touch up of red. This set up is themed with light, neutral and soft colors to make the ambience comfortable and tranquil. I think one of the most important thing is the floral arrangement, if done properly the beautiful flower are a great centerpiece for the dinner table. It’s a little challenging to explain the whole set up so I will just show you a few potential pictures on how it’s going to look like.

Classic Elegant Red

Classic crimsons and reds, with an ice-filled steel bucket laying a bottle of champagne. The dynamic red certainly brings out the elegant and strong impressions. Different from the style of simple pink, this is more intense and passionate. Red roses in crystal vase, silver candle holder and decorative flower petals sprinkled around the table. This is going to create a wonderful intimate dinner for the two filling with passion and a tad of Intensity, sound so exciting!!

Showing you a few examples of what I’m talking about.

Taking an extra effort to change the dining room décor will help create a warm and festive ambience and fill the air with passionate love and romance. I hope everyone enjoys planning for their Valentine’s Day celebration and may the cupids fly around all of you!!

BigBang's G-Dragon attended Chanel's 2016 spring/summer haute couture show in Paris, and it didn't go unnoticed.

G-Dragon wore a black oversize fur hat, a retro suit and a stripped shirt at the show. Shortly after the show, Vogue gave homage to G-Dragon's Chanel front row styles.

Vogue wrote G-Dragon's fashion is a "surprisingly measured approach that involves taking a polished base (pastel twinsets, classic black suits) and adding one over-the-top embellishment."

G-Dragon has been a constant muse of Karl Lagerfield. In July 2015, G-Dragon, Kristen Stweart and Julianne Moore were invited to Paris to serve as fashion muses at the haute couture show according to Kpopstarz.

Every successful Career Girl has a routine, and most of them have the same habits that help them to keep track of their tasks and stay on the top of their game.

Photo via Freepeople

As we all know, it’s hard to implement new habits, but 2016 is the year of opportunity, so we’ve got some habits of successful people that you can master in just a few minutes!

#1 Visualization

Every successful person knows that visualization is the key to setting goals and focusing on success. It won’t take long to visualize where you want to be, you should start with a vision board and try to focus on what you want and how you’re going to get it.

#2 Money Management

Credit: Walasses

Money management is hard, but doesn’t take long to master. Start by reading a few money smart books, downloading some apps and knowing what you should be looking at every day.

#3 Proper Planning

Buy a desk planner or get a Moleskine Notebook and some washi tape and start laying out your day. If you prefer a digital medium, we love Wunderlist for prioritizing our goals. Start with one thing you need to do every day and set a time limit.

#4 Speed Learning

Credit: The Odyssey Online

You should aim to learn something new every day, reading the news or picking up a non-fiction book is a great way of keeping yourself in the know.

#5 Being Healthy

Although being healthy seems like a huge task, getting a few great healthy cookbooks in, preparing your meals, and aiming to do 15 minutes of high intensity training every other day will go a long way to getting you on track.

#6 Early Rising

Getting up early doesn’t have to be a pain. Start by waking up an hour (or half an hour) earlier than you normally would and try to get a smoothie for breakfast to give you an energy boost.

#7 Playing To Their Strengths

Playing to your strengths is a good way to stay on the road to success, working on your weaknesses and accepting the things you’ll never be good at is also essential. Try a personality test to figure out what you’re really good at.

#8 Networking

Credit: Christoph Grizzard

Networking is everybody’s biggest fear, but it doesn’t have to be. The more you attend networking events, the better you’ll be at them. Try to connect online when possible, showing your face is better than not turning up.

Skin Lightening and Brightening

Since time immemorial, women of light and fair skin have always been considered beautiful.  Women around the world often go to great lengths to lighten their skin to look more attractive. In Asia, it is every woman’s dream to have light and fair skin. That is why skin lightening treatment and skin care products are so very popular in this part of the world. In 2004, 4 in 10 women surveyed in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines and the Republic of Korea have been reported to use skin lightening products.

Credit: Imgur

Skin Lightening

Skin Lightening is the process where hyper-pigmentation, the dark spots or uneven skin tone due to over-production of melanin are removed.

It is usually done topically with skin lightener. The most frequently used ingredients for skin lighteners are arbutin, kojic acid, and azealic acids as well as licorice, vitamin C, niacinamide or mulberry extract. All of these ingredients have some prohibiting action against melanin and products with these ingredients could be easily bought over the counter. But the most powerful skin lightening agent is Hydroquinone, a well-known skin lightener that can only be prescribed by doctor in Singapore.

Dermatologists also use laser or IPL to lighten skin and remove pigmentation. These machines emit powerful light beams to destroy the melanin pigment beneath the skin. However, a proper evaluation of the skin pigmentation is important as the success of the treatment hinges on accurate diagnosis, whether it is using skin lightening creams, IPL or laser.

Credit: Doris Home

Why? Because there are many different types of pigmentation. To the untrained eyes, the different kinds of pigmentation all look the same. Under the trained eyes of an experienced dermatologist, pigmentation can be due to melasma, Hori’s macule, freckles, lichen planus pigmentaosus, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, lentigines, freckles and etc. Sometimes, 2-3 types of pigmentation can occur together.  Only by knowing the types of pigmentation can one prescribe the right course of treatment plan to reduce/removed pigmentation. Over my years of seeing thousands of patients with pigmentation, many came with unresolved pigmentation problem after spending huge sum of money on the wrong treatment.

Skin Brightening

What is Skin Brightening? The term “Skin brightening” is used pretty loosely. Skin care companies may market the same products as “Brightening” in the West and as “ Lightening” or “Whitening” in Asia.

Actually, skin brightening is not about shade or color of skin, but about an overall glow. A brightened skin can be likened to that of a peeled, hard-boiled egg that exudes radiance and luminosity, regardless of color of skin.

Credit: Mimo Show

How can one achieve the holy grail of even, glowing, and brightened skin?

Through A Combination Approach of

  1. Skin Lightening,
  2. Exfoliating,
  3. Stimulating,
  4. Moisturizing and
  5. Controlling Oil Production
  6. Sun Protection

To achieve a glowing and brightened skin, one needs to go beyond just skin lightening. In addition to lightening agents, Skin Brightening usually needs exfoliating agents to help peel away the superficial dead skin cells and the darker-stained uppermost layers of the skin, revealing a lighter, healthier and smoother skin underneath. A lighter and smoother skin can reflect light better, like that of a polished marble floor, giving the skin a glow and radiance.

Stimulating the skin with Retinoids to replenish the skin with healthier and more vibrant skin cells is important, especially for the more mature skin.

A good moisturizing regimen or treatment program that nourishes and moistens one’s skin will definitely make it more hydrated and more radiant.

Another observation I have made from my years’ of experience is oil control. A baby’s oil free skin is glowing all the time. Patients who are on oil control regime also have bright and healthier looking skin!

Credit: GDUTOL

Above all, it’s essential to employ sun protective measures because sun triggers the pigment production in the first place. That’s why it’s so important to wear sunscreen to make sure your effort in Skin lightening and Skin Brightening will not be in vain!

Reignite Your 'Lost 'Fitness Spark with TomTom Spark!

February signifies the month of love confessions (read: Valentine Day), and we at MyFatPocket would love to bask in the lovely dovey atmosphere by sharing our team very own confession too! And that’s (drum rolls…) none of us managed to stick through any fitness resolutions we made in January. Well you can’t blame us, as Franklin Covey’s poll concluded that come February, 30% of resolutions will be broken, so it’s just human nature (guilty much). Despite that, we are not going to give up our dream of having that Jennifer Lawrence’s toned abs (remember how she flashed her abs and lead glamour at 2016 Golden Globes Awards?). If you share the same confession, fret not and see how TomTom Spark managed to reignite the fitness spark among our team. Now February is the new January!

Special Spark from TomTom Spark GPS Fitness Music Watch Series

The first spark that kindle the excitement in us about the 22 x 55 mm display screen watch (just launched in 28th January) is it allows us to bid goodbye to music from smartphone or mp3. A good workout is never complete without some energetic and upbeat music, and TomTom knows exactly that. The TomTom Spark GPS Fitness Music Watch allows fitness enthusiasts like us to load up to 500 songs (3GB) on our wrists, and listen to our favourite tracks wirelessly during workout. This essentially eliminates the need to rely on our smartphones (which can be an uncomfortable experience).

alt

Credit: Foxnews

Other than that, the watch comes preloaded with a bespoke 30 minutes Running Trax, curated by Ministry of Sound (imagine pieces from world renowned deejays like David Guetta). The watch also streams music to a wide range of Bluetooth headphones, and allows easy download of playlists from iTunes or Windows Media® Player.

alt

If you think just the above feature will satisfy our excitement, you’re wrong, we definitely have a huge appetite to please.

24/7 Activity Tracking & Real Time Audio Feedback

Another new feature of the watch is the multi-sports mode. The range of modes enables users to track all indoor and outdoor activities including running, cycling, swimming, treadmills and gym workouts; and to obtain live time statistics on time, distance, speed, pace and calorie expenditure calculated against their personalised fitness goals. And if you’re lazy to check out the statistics, just opt for the audio feedback and stay motivated on your performance.

alt

It's just like having a reliable buddy by your side to track your progress anytime and anywhere. And yes, even your sleep duration is tracked, so that you can tell if you’re having sufficient sleep.

alt

Credit: TomTom Spark

Fitness fanatics can also establish and track their daily and weekly goals, as well as follow their progress either from the watch or via the TomTom MySports app and the TomTom MySports web site. Alternatively, they can upload their statistics to various platforms, including RunKeeper, Nike+ and more.

No More Sweaty Chest Bands with Heart Rate Monitor

TomTom Spark also incorporates a built-in heart rate monitor which allows selection from 5 different heart rate zones (Sprint, Speed, Endure, Fat Burn and Easy). Now who needs sweaty chest bands again?

alt

Credit: TomTom Spark

The TomTom GPS Spark GPS Fitness Music Watch Series include 2 designs, TomTom Spark Music (SGD 329) and TomTom Spark Cario + Music (SGD 399). If you prefer something else, do check out the TomTom Spark GPS Fitness Watch (SGD 249) or TomTom Spark Cardio GPS Fitness Watch (SGD 329).

All we can say is the unique combination of an integrated music player, built-in heart rate monitor, 24/7 activity tracking, multi-sport modes and GPS in TomTom Spark makes it easier than ever to track progress, improve overall fitness levels and ultimately achieve more from your workout.

Customisable Straps

If you think fitness watches are too melancholic because of its standard black strap, TomTom Spark will definitely spice things up for you. With a variety of vibrant duo-coloured straps that come in 2 sizes, small (121-175 mm) and large (143-206 mm), you can now mix and match according to your fitness mood, and add some popping colours to your usual regimen.

If you’re ‘sparked’ after reading this, do find out more at TomTom. Do not let the statement “My goal for 2016 is to accomplish the goals of 2015, which I should have done in 2014, because I made a promise in 2013 and planned it in 2012” becomes a reality for you. Change your February and change your body!

10 Valentine's Day Pranks to Pull on Your Partner

$

Trying to be romantic can be quite the challenge for people — even if it's just for one day out of the year. To make this Valentine's Day unforgettable, avoid the fancy restaurants and heart-shaped boxes of chocolates, and instead pull a few Valentine's Day pranks on your partner. These hilarious pranks, culled from the depths of the Internet, are sure to surprise your lovebug more than a weekend trip to Paris.

The pressure of Valentine's Day can get to couples, and many choose to forgo the holiday of love all together. To make things a bit more fun, Jimmy Kimmel issued a challenge for men to give their wives or girlfriends something terrible for Valentine's Day in 2013 (as if guys need an excuse!). Videos flooded into YouTube of bugs inside chocolates, rings on fake severed fingers, and kidney stone engagement rings. Many of the pranks were so disgusting or disturbing that I thought, "Surely, we can do better!"

So ladies, this Sunday the 14th, let's fight fire with fire. Let's prank them where it hurts! This isn't Valentine's Day anymore — it's Prankentine's Day and we are gonna serve up some piping hot payback. Check out the list of easy tricks below and you'll have Cupid laughing his diaper off. Just don't prank your bae too hard... I don't want to be responsible for any breakups, please.

1. The Stinky Flower

Be the one to give your bae flowers this year! For this easy prank all you need is an attractive bouquet of flowers, and a smelly spray such as "Fart Spray" or the unfortunately named "Liquid A**". Spray each flower individually (you might want to wear dish gloves as to be careful not to get any of the spray on your hands or clothes). After, make the flowers presentable again by putting them in a vase or rewrapping them. When you give your partner the lovely gift and they put their nose in the flowers to sniff themthere will be a smelly surprise.

2. The Romantic Sloppy Kiss

Next time you're cuddling with your cutie, and the mood is getting romantic, go in for a loving kiss. When your bae closes their eyes, instead give them a big lick up and down their face. Tasty!

3. The Great Font Switcheroo

If your partner leaves their laptop lying around then it's time for a little holiday hacking!Download a specialty font — something obnoxious, perhaps where the letters "i" and "j" are dotted with hearts. Install the font file in the system's collection, and set it as the default font for the Internet. This prank will leave them scratching their heads trying to figure out what happened. It is so much more creative then just changing their screensaver to be weird pictures of yourself — though you might as well do that too while you're at it!

4. The Busted Breakfast

Volunteer to make a "special" breakfast to celebrate this Valentine's Day. Prepare a normal bowl of cereal for your boo complete with milk and a spoon, then put the whole thing in the freezer the night before. Make "fresh squeezed orange juice" by combining a packet of the cheese mix from boxed macaroni and cheese with water, then stir or blend the mixture. Serve the cereal with the "orange juice" to your baby in bed. When they take a sip their face will be priceless — though they may never trust you in the kitchen again.

5. The Not-So-Sexy Striptease

Get your partner in the mood with a seductive striptease. Put on some smooth jams, and LOTS of layers. I'm talking layers on layers. A few spandex jumpsuits underneath don't hurt either. The strip tease will take so long, your bae will probably fall asleep before the end.

6. The Meaty Cupcake

If you want to give your sweetie something sweet this V-Day, here is a prank sure to tickle their taste buds! Switch out your traditional cake batter for a meatloaf mix. Bake the mixture in cupcake tins and let cool. Cover in traditional icing and sprinkles (or take it up a notch and swap in toothpaste in place of the icing). These cupcakes will have quite a strange flavor — though somehow I feel like Guy Fieri would approve. You can even leave some meatloaf cakes unfrosted to enjoy by yourself later!

7. The Chocolate Syrup And Whip Cream

If you want to get frisky between the sheets, try spicing up your average chocolate and whip cream. If you secretly empty all the whip cream cans before you guys get down to business it will frustrate to no end. And when your buddy goes for the chocolate syrup, replace the liquid beforehand with non-toxic fake blood for a scary syrup-prise.

8. The Hair-Raising Wakeup Call

This prank is not for the faint of heart: while your lover is sleeping peacefully, don a terrifying clown mask. Subtly go in for a snuggle, gently waking them. You can set up your phone to record the whole thing in the morning light. Their terrified reaction will be a gift to yourself this Valentine's Day.

9. Name A Roach After Your Bae

Who knew the perfect present could be found at the Bronx Zoo? Show how much your bae means to you by naming one of the zoo's Madagascar hissing cockroaches after your cutie. You get an official certificate and even some chocolates for that perfect romantic touch!

10. My Screamy Valentine

For this simple and easy prank all you need is a recordable Valentine's Day card. Instead of recording a sweet message, just scream into it. When your bae opens their valentine, your blood-curdling screams will fill the air and their heart.

Just call me call me Dr. Prankenstein!

An Interview with Ying, Founder of Ying the Label

$

Ying the Label runs on the philosophy that “less is more, odd is beautiful” and this is clearly epitomised in their designs. With painterly prints, structured lines, and experimental textures, Ying the Label balances fashion and art. And if you haven’t seen it, Ying the Label’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection gave us a fresh perspective of individuality, infusing art into our everyday wear.

Credit: Ying the Label

We had a chat with Ying to find out more about herself, and the behind the scenes stories of her new collection.

What inspired you to be a designer?

I was inspired by the fashion in Melbourne when I was studying there during my uni days. They had a wide selection of designs and when I came back to Singapore, I couldn’t find clothes that I really like. At the same time, I always alter my clothes into designs that I like after wearing them for a few times, so after some time, I thought why don’t I start designing clothes instead.

Did you go for any fashion design course since you didn’t start out as a designer?

I took part time fashion design courses both when I was in Melbourne and Singapore. I did courses with LaSalle and NAFA while working at the bank.

So how did Ying the Label started?

I’m always inspired by paintings and I love painting in my own free time. I really wanted to put my paintings onto the prints and that’s how Ying the Label started.

No wonder we see lots of prints using paintings on your collection! Next question. What do you think sets Ying the Label apart from other brands?

I always feel that my brand is fun and whimsical, and besides the unique prints, Ying the Label is always colourful, which is a little different. The feedback that I’ve gotten is that the silhouette and the foldings are unique, and different from how other brands are doing it. For example, if it is a simple pencil skirt, I’ll try to either add some hand-made foldings to it, or add prints that stand out in a more artsy manner.

So there are more details to it?

Yes, and because I paint the stuff, every piece is different, like how the colour combinations and the folds are different.

So did you face any challenges when you first started out?

The capital was definitely a challenge but because of passion, we really wanted to do go ahead and do something. Another challenge that I faced was getting people to believe in the combination of art and fashion because Singaporeans aren’t as adventurous in fashion and aren’t as open to trying new things. So usually for my collections, I will still include some tone down colours like neutrals and nudes in addition to the louder colours. I guess the culture in Singapore is probably one of my biggest challenge.

What are your inspirations behind this Spring/Summer 2016 collection?

{youtube}CRGr1GpAPEY{/youtube}

I was travelling and I spoke to a lot of people. I was inspired by how different people expressed themselves differently. So when I was painting, I decided not to paint things that are physical, but to just blend colours together to form a droplet that showcases the different types of people around and the different personalities they have. And by blending the colours, the colours combined together to form all sorts of different droplets and looked really pretty together. In short, this collection is about the individuality of people.

So any interesting behind the scenes story for this collection?

It was my first time on a bigger fashion show during the Digital Fashion Week for this collection and it was quite crazy. The whole process didn’t just start from the drawing and sketching, but in fact, it started when I started painting and throwing canvases out! It took me about 3 to 4 months just to get the final canvas right.

So was it very hectic during the Digital Fashion Week?

Yes it was, from the designs to selecting the models. But it was a very good experience for me.

And you had to do everything on your own?

Almost, but my sister helps me on the operations side.

But you have the final say?

Yes! (Laughs)

Which one is your favourite piece from this collection?

I would say that it is the current dress that I’m wearing! I like dresses with simple silhouette which doesn’t hug my body too much, and this piece definitely has the artistic feel to it. It really shows what Ying the Label meant, a little oriental, but yet it has my paintings on it. The whole piece is really like an art meets fashion blend.

What is your wardrobe must have?

I’m a very simple person, so to be frank, my must haves is a plain black blouse and a plain white blouse because they matches everything. I like printed pants so my plain black and white blouses can match them easily. I love prints, so plain classics are a must to go with them.

Any fashion advice for Singapore women?

Well I would say try to be adventurous, be confident, and try colours. I think colours bring the outfit alive. You will naturally feel a little happier!

Lastly, something a little more personal. Tell us something about yourself that not many people know of.

I love multi-tasking! People know that I am doing a lot of things at once but I really enjoy the process of doing many things at once. I can multi-task very well! I do have a full-time job, so I’m juggling between my work and my passion. In the night, I sit down to think through my day and to chill out. But in the day, I think I can do 5 things at once.

Wow that’s really hectic!

Understanding Fat Reduction/Body Contouring, Weight loss & Skin Firming

Fat Reduction/Body Contouring, Weight loss & Skin Firming: Make sure your body treatments measure up to expectations by understanding your options and the difference among them.

It’s a common misconception that weight loss and fat reduction are the same thing. The science behind this difference is actually pretty simple and logical. When we lose weight, our fat cells become smaller but the number of fat cells remains the same. We get rid of our fat cells through fat reduction using methods like cryolipolysis or fat freezing.

Fat reduction does not significantly change your weight; the result appears on your measuring tape. When you contour your body through fat reduction, your clothes fit better. There will no longer be, for instance, ‘love handles’ spilling over your pants or skirt.

So before you explore ways to improve your physique, it is best to understand what is it that you want to achieve: weight loss, fat reduction or skin tightening. You may need only one or a combination of these treatments depending on your body, and it is best to understand the options available. With this article, we hope to paint a clearer picture on the difference between weight loss, body contouring/fat reduction, and skin firming.

Fat Reduction/Body Contouring, Weight loss & Skin Firming: Body Beautiful in Three Steps

When we talk about weight loss, people often think about dieting and counting calories. But it is best to speak with a doctor on the most optimal way of losing weight in a way that is most appropriate for your body. But once you’ve reached your ideal weight, the next step is to say goodbye to the fat cells and this is where body contouring/fat reduction comes in.

For those who do not fancy going for liposuction as a way to remove body fats, there are non-invasive, no downtime body contouring treatments available like CoolSculpting by Zeltiq and High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU). But what about the loose skin that resulted from weight loss and fat removal? That’s where skin firming treatments like HIFU, Tightlase 3D Laser, and Radio Frequency (RF) come in.

Weight Loss: Total Slim Programme

This doctor-assisted slimming programme consists of a full-body checkup, a personalised weight loss programme, and post-programme health check. Clinically-tested weight loss drugs will also be prescribed to complement the patient’s weight loss regime. The programme can be paired with any fat reduction and skin tightening treatment to contour the body as well.

Treatment Experience: Comfortable

Downtime: None

Post-care Advice: Always check with the doctor on how you can maintain a healthy weight post-programme.

Fat Reduction/Body Contouring Treatment: CoolSculpting by Zeltiq

CoolSculpting uses cryolipolysis. It works by removing fat cells via a non-invasive freezing technology that targets only fat cells. Cryolipolysis is used to remove certain areas of body fat that are just under the skin to contour our physique. With the CoolSculpting procedure, crystallised fat cells are eliminated and the fat cells are gone for good.

From the smallest applicator such as the CoolMini to target small pocket of fat from double chin, armpit fat, and knee fat to bigger applicators (CoolCurve, CoolCore, CoolMax, and CoolFit) to target love handles, back or bra fat, abdomen and inner thighs and surface applicator (CoolSmooth) for outer thighs.

Treatment Experience: Cold

Downtime: None

Post-care Advice: Zeltiq CoolSculpting may cause some tenderness in the areas treated for about two weeks after your procedure. Just wear loose, comfortable clothes and it will resolve on its own. There might be some bruising but that will also resolve by itself.

Body Contouring and Skin Firming Treatment: High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)

If the cold is not something you’re comfortable with then HIFU treatment is the next best alternative. Utilising focused ultrasound technology, it’s able to eliminate fat with precision. The thermal effect penetrates deep down into the subcutaneous fat tissue to specifically target problem areas addressing the issues effectively. It can also be used to tighten loose and sagging skin.

Treatment Experience: Prickly sensation

Downtime: None

Post-care Advice: Similar to Zeltiq CoolSculpting, there might be some tenderness post procedure but these will resolve on its own. This treatment needs to be repeated about three times.

Skin Firming Treatment: TightLase 3D Laser

Featuring dual-wavelength laser technology, TightLase 3D Laser is a highly effective non-surgical skin tightening treatment that firms loose skin and reduces the appearance of cellulites. The first treatment mode of this laser gently but consistently heats the tissues in the deeper layer in order to tighten the skin. The second mode targets the superficial layer of skin, causing the contraction and tightening of skin with a modest degree of lipolysis (fat removal). This dual action renders the TightLase 3D Laser a highly efficient skin tightening treatments both for the body and face.

Treatment Experience: Heat

Downtime: None

Post-care Advice: Need to be repeated about three times.

Skin Firming Treatment: Radio Frequency (RF)

As we age, our collagen and elastin production decreases resulting in the sagging of the skin, wrinkles and fine lines appearance. RF treatments are known to be effective in addressing these issues. This light-based treatment penetrates the skin, heating the skin tissue to stimulate collagen fibers and fibroblast cells to produce new collagen and elastic fibres. This in turn tightens and rejuvenates the skin leaving it with a firmer, smoother appearance.

Treatment Experience: Warm

Downtime: None

Post-care Advice: Need to be repeated about five times.

Valentine’s Day is the day when we cherish our loved ones and shower them with affection. We each choose a valentine and make every effort to show that special someone just how much we truly appreciate him or her. But who says “that someone” has to be human? For everyone who’s “in love” with a furry, four-legged canine, let’s take a moment to reflect on why we’re so crazy about our dogs.

1. My dog is always in the mood to cuddle.
